Vertical axis wind turbine X-ONE of 1 kW
The X-ONE turbine of 1 kW is on prototype stage in partnership with JCOPLASTIC of Battipaglia (SA); is therefore not yet in production.
With an average wind speed of 6 m/s, X-ONE of 1 kW produces an amount of energy equal to about 2000 kWh per year, which almost completely compensates the needs of an average household. The same amount of energy sold at 0.30 Euro / kW, equivalent to an income of 600 Euro per year.
Its innovative configurations have been patented in 2008: BEWARE OF IMITATIONS!

Other important features of the X-ONE turbine are: independence from wind direction, low noise, high efficiency and insensitivity to turbulence.
For a hypothetical price of 4000 € and installation in a site with annual averge wind speed of 6 m/s there's a pay-back time of 4 years.

Installations: The X-ONE turbine presents several possible alternative configurations between them that make it somewhat flexible depending on the application. The modularity of the turbine allows also the installation on buildings or multiple versions row and with the axis horizontally to the ground.
